The best food we’ve had in the Algarve. Highly recommend!

An amazing evening. Beautiful settings with fantastic food and service. We loved hearing their insight into all things wine. The three course meal we had has to be the best we’ve had in the Algarve. Already recommended to family and friends due to visit!

Good dinner + fine wines

Good host who knows a lot about the history of the vineyard. Good (and a lot) dinner with fine wines. Would definitely recommend it to couples for a romantic evening. (Tip: take a taxi)

Amazing

Good wine in a spectacular setting. The hostess made the evening into perfection with her warm heart and personality and made the atmosphere familiar and welcoming. The area and the sunset was amazing. Would truly recommend a visit!

If you have the chance to do a wine tasting and have diner at this place: please do and thank me later. Everything about it is just lovely: the view, the wine, the food and most of all the hospitality. When we arrived, they gave us a glass of wine and we could explore the vineyard for a bit. When we came back, our private table was loaded with good food and we could just kick back and relax. Will definitely come back here next time I visit the area!

Gelungener Abend mit ein wenig Verbesserungspotenzial

Wir waren zum Dinner in den Weinbergen. Die Stimmung dort ist herrlich und der Sonnenuntergang ist wirklich schön. Leider sind wir nicht unter dem alten Olivenbaum gesessen sondern unter einem Dach vor dem Gebäude - es war dennoch schön eingedeckt und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Der Empfang war nett, aber nicht zu herzlich. Wir wussten zunächst nicht, wer Gastgeber und wer Gast ist. Bis wir zu Tisch gebeten wurden, schlenderten die Gäste - jeder für sich - ein wenig über das Anwesen und in die Weinberge - leider hat mir hier schon ein Gläschen Wein in der Hand gefehlt. Am Tisch war es dann bei uns sehr entspannt, was natürlich in erster Linie von den Sitznachbarn am großen Tisch abhängig ist. Bei uns hat es gepasst! Das Essen war lecker, aber jetzt auch nichts verrücktes. Für Nicht-Fisch-Esser gab es zum Beispiel nach den sehr leckeren Wachtel-Schlegelchen zum Hauptgang Hühner-Schlegel. Aber es wurden alle satt und es war gut. Für mich leider der größte Kritikpunkt ist, dass man eigentlich den halben Abend vor einem leeren Weinglas sitzt - auf einem Weingut ein wenig ungewohnt. Man bekommt dreimal eingeschenkt, manche mehr, manche weniger, und fertig. Nach dem Essen dann der Hinweis, dass man drinnen jetzt Wein kaufen kann und die Veranstaltung war zu Ende. Ich hätte mir auch gut vorstellen können, dass der Gastgeber zwischen seinen kurzen Vorstellungen der Weine auch mal kurz zum Smalltalk an den Tisch kommt und auch anschließend beim Gehen noch kurz präsent ist. Unterm Strich hatten wir einen unterhaltsamen Abend - für mich mit ein wenig Luft nach oben.
