Best Tour Ever

My friends and I chose to do this tour with Zebra Safari which was memorable we loved visiting the interior of the algarve we did not expect it to be so beautiful and so intense but what we liked the most was having the opportunity to taste algarvian delicacies such as honey, arbutus berry, traditional fig and almond sweets.
Where we had the opportunity to buy and take home if we wanted, we had super fun guides and for the next year we intend to do it again.
We recommend 100%.

A taste of the real Algarve

I had a brilliant time on the whole day safari tour . Both my tour guides Joao and Carla were energetic , enthusiastic and so friendly . On the tour I learnt lots of facts about the Algarve. I was able to see lots of beautiful scenery , animals, the native fruits and got to experience the authentic Algarve in all its natural beauty !
We also got to see a Castle , museums and a church .
One of my favourite things was when I got to taste the world famous fire water (which keeps the Portuguese residents young and happy according to our tour guide Joao)
I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the trip and would highly recommend it !
This was my first time in Portugal and I will definitely be returning very soon .
The lunch was also delicious and plentiful.
We also got to see a Castle , museums and a church .

The Tour was really nice , a lot to see ,the Tour gide (João Silva) showed us beautiful places, we could eat specialities form the Region and See a lot of algarve.

Albufeira Jeep Safari Tour (Full Day)

We traveled by Jeep through villages, climbed mountain tops, saw castle ruins, toured an operational historical wind powered flour mill with a local narrator, just to mention a few highlights. We stopped to see local farm animals and native plants on the way, tried local treats and drinks on the way, and in several local cafés, and had an amazing piri-piri chicken lunch with a wonderful dessert selection at Os Arcos in/near Paderne. Our friendly and skilled local driver was very funny and knowledgeable, and explained every highlight with his own personal stories and experience.
Albufeira Jeep Safari Tour (Full Day)

Nice day trip throughout the wider area in a Jeep. We got picked up/dropped off at the nearest hotel, and stopped at various Cafes to taste local products (e.g. desserts, aguardente, coffee), sightseeing highlights, and mountain tops, often taking off-road paths. Stops included an operational flower windmill with an onsite narrator, an ancient castle ruin, another was the second highest mountain in the Algarve with power generating wind turbines. On the way we saw and learned about all kinds of local vegetation, farm animals and wildlife. We stopped at Os Arcos in/near Paderne for delicious piri-piri chicken for lunch, their dessert selection and quality was phenomenal. Our very skilled (and funny) driver did a wonderful job navigating and narrating the tour.
Zebra Tours with Joao

Our driver/guide, Joao Silva (ask for him) was not just knowledgeable about local history and places of interest but he was also just a fun guy to spend the day with. Talked about the past, present and possible future of the Algarve region. Joao was also pretty informed about local vegetation which I really enjoyed and pointed out many of the restored houses and architectural styles. He took us to a great place for lunch. I believe the it’s name was Camelo. Then to top off the day he returned my phone to me with a genuine smile when I forgot it in the Land Rover. If you are going to tour the region use Zebra and Joao.

Brilliant day out, the day was made by the friendly and knowledgeable guide, Eric was brilliant! Few attractions may be closed out of season but this was to be expected. The quality of the lunch could be improved.
